Work down the list and stop when the ring turns green. Most problems end at step one or two.
A busy or far-away server is the usual cause. Tap the server card on the home screen and pick another. The list shows ping in ms; lower is closer.Home › server card
Disconnect first, then pick another protocol. Try WireGuard, then OpenVPN UDP, or keep Recommended and let Tunnexa choose.Settings › Select Protocol
Work, college or hotel Wi-Fi: try OpenVPN TCP. A network that blocks VPNs: try AmneziaWG, then Stealth. These need a free account, and the network's rules still apply.OpenVPN TCPAmneziaWGStealth
Close Tunnexa from your recent apps and open it again. Still stuck? Restart the phone, then write to us with the location and protocol you tried.Recent apps › swipe away
!Seeing "No Internet Connection"? That's your phone, not the VPN. Check Wi-Fi or mobile data, then tap Retry. Not sure which protocol suits your network? Here's what each Tunnexa protocol is for.
The questions we get most. Can't find yours? Write to us at support@tunnexa.com.
No. Tap Skip on the first screen to connect as a guest. Guests get the free locations, the Recommended, WireGuard and OpenVPN UDP protocols, and DNS leak protection. A free account adds the other three protocols, Kill Switch & Always On, Auto Connect, Ad & Tracker Shield and Split Tunneling.
Open Settings and tap "Sign in or create a free account". Enter your email and we'll send a 6-digit code, or use the Google or Apple button instead. There's no password to remember.
Check your spam and promotions folders, and make sure the email is spelled right. When the timer runs out, tap Resend. If it still doesn't arrive, sign in with Google or Apple, or email us.
That protocol or feature needs a free account: OpenVPN TCP, AmneziaWG, Stealth, Kill Switch & Always On, Auto Connect, Ad & Tracker Shield or Split Tunneling. Tap Sign In. There's nothing to pay.
Disconnect first, then open Settings › Select Protocol and tap the one you want. If you're still connected, Tunnexa asks you to disconnect before it switches.
Some networks block VPN traffic. Try OpenVPN TCP first. If the network actively blocks VPNs, try AmneziaWG, then Stealth. These need a free account, and the network owner's rules still apply.
Sign in, open Settings and tap Kill Switch & Always On. Android's VPN settings open; turn on Always-on VPN and Block connections without VPN. More on the Tunnexa kill switch.
Android allows only one app to use Always-on VPN. In your phone's VPN settings, turn it off for the other app, then turn it on for Tunnexa.
Use Split Tunneling, free with an account: Settings › Split Tunneling › Select Apps, then pick the apps that should skip the VPN. Read more about split tunneling on Android.
Your account is connected on too many devices at once. Tap Manage devices, or go to Account › Connected Devices, and remove one you're not using.
No. We don't store your browsing history, connection history, traffic or DNS queries. For signed-in devices, our server keeps only the last connect time, last stop time and protocol, to enforce the connection limit. Each connection overwrites it.
Premium is coming soon, and there's no date yet. It will add every VPN location and Specialty servers for gaming, streaming and file sharing. Get notified when it launches.
